Experience the magical atmosphere of St. Bartholomä at our exclusive events at Königssee. Whether in the mystical twilight or in the festive pre-Christmas period – each event combines culture, culinary delights and nature in a very special way.
Legendary time out in St. Bartholomä
As dusk falls, guests glide across the legendary Königssee on the Königsseeschifffahrt boats and are whisked away into the Berchtesgaden world of legends – accompanied by atmospheric legend readings and harp music. In the St. Bartholomä restaurant, guests can expect a fabulous 3-course menu with wine accompaniment and further legend readings. Sepperl Wenig will be the narrator.

- 16:00 hrs Departure of the special boats and crossing to St. Bartholomä with legend reading and the famous echo from Königssee
- 16:40 Arrival in St. Bartholomä
- 16:45 Musical reception of the guests in front of the restaurant with a hot drink
- 17:15 3-course menu incl. drink with musical accompaniment and legend reading
- 19:45 Torches show the way to the boats
- 20:00 Return journey with the special boats
- 20:45 Arrival at the lakeside area
Bartholomä Christmas
Especially in the run-up to Christmas, we long for peace and quiet. And we find this at Königssee. In the natural seclusion of the St. Bartholomä peninsula, in the middle of the Berchtesgaden National Park, even the crossing over the deep, crystal-clear water promises relaxation. In the world-famous pilgrimage church of St. Bartholomä, you will hear the Christmas story by Ludwig Thoma, recited in Bavarian dialect, accompanied by Advent carols and heartfelt folk music. Afterwards, enjoy a festive 4-course meal accompanied by the sounds of the Stub’n Musi before the evening draws to a close with torchlight and the palpable tranquillity of the lake at night.
